The Rifle Scope Manufacturing Process

Explore the precision behind each rifle scope we craft, from initial concept to final product. Our meticulous manufacturing process fuses advanced technology with expert craftsmanship to deliver exceptional quality every step of the way.

Eyepiece Assembly

Components: Glass, eyepiece frame, eyepiece retaining ring, sealing ring, spacer leather, and protective leather.

Following the optical path diagram, glass lenses are sequentially placed into the eyepiece frame, separated by spacer leather, and secured with the eyepiece retaining ring. The ring's thread is glued for fixation, and a sealing ring is added outside the eyepiece. A self-inspection for dust is conducted.

Objective Lens Assembly

Components: Glass, objective lens frame, spacer ring, retaining ring, and spacer leather.

Glass lenses are arranged in the objective lens frame as per the optical path, with spacer leather between the glass and frame, and secured with the objective lens retaining ring. The ring's thread is fixed with glue. Dust inspection is performed.

Prism Assembly

Components: Glass, retaining ring, prism chamber, condenser lens frame, condenser glass, wave washer, inner tube, and outer tube.

Glass is placed in the prism chamber and secured with the chamber's retaining ring, which is glued at the thread. The assembly is then inserted into the inner tube, covered by the outer tube, and assembled with the wave washer, condenser lens frame, and condenser glass in order. A self-check for dust is done.

Semi-finished Product Assembly

Components: Single-sided board, 2 adjustment screws, body retaining ring, prism assembly, objective lens assembly, torque ring, and body.

Adjustment screws are fitted onto the body. After dust inspection of the front components, the objective lens is installed at the coarse end of the body, a single-sided board in the middle, and the prism assembly at the fine end, secured with the body retaining ring, which is glued. Finally, the torque ring is added.

Rheostat Base Assembly

Components: Battery cover, rheostat base, double-sided board, circuit board retaining ring, battery, and six-hole spacer leather.

On the semi-finished product, the six-hole spacer leather, rheostat base, and double-sided board are sequentially installed, secured with glue on the circuit board retaining ring, and the battery is placed in its compartment before closing with the battery cover. The final step involves checking the smoothness of rotation.

Adjustment

Components: Graticule board, graticule frame, annular base, and graticule frame retaining ring.

The graticule frame and board are assembled in order, fixed with glue on the graticule frame retaining ring, and the annular base is added. Dust is meticulously checked. Performance is individually inspected on a collimator.

Final Assembly and Surface Cleaning

Components: Eyepiece assembly, 2 scale rings, 2 caps, 2 handwheels.

After dust inspection of previous processes, the eyepiece assembly is glued to the body, and accessories such as scale rings, handwheels, and caps are fitted onto the adjustment screws. The final step involves cleaning any residual glue and oil stains. The finished product is then moved to the inspection area for final checks.
